After extensive research, we chose BLK Max Hospital for gynaecology and obstetrics care, and our overall experience was truly commendable.

A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lakshmi Mantri and Dr. Uma Rani Swain, who are exceptional in their field. Their expertise, calm approach, and transparency in communication immediately instill confidence. The processes they follow reflect deep experience and commitment to patient well-being.

Their supporting team deserves equal appreciation — Dr. Riya, Dr. Monica, Dr. Priyanshi, Dr. Nidhi, and Dr. Manisha — all of whom showed immense understanding, care, and professionalism throughout. The team tried every possible method to ensure a normal delivery, and only after exhausting all safe options did they proceed with a C-section. Their patience and compassion made a big difference.

The supporting staff was equally efficient and kind. The nurses, security staff, feeding assistants, and porter services played a crucial role in making the stay comfortable. Special thanks to:

The billing was professionally and smoothly taken care by Mr. Jhanvi, Mr. Amandeep and Ms. Deepanshi.

The food service was excellent as well — meals were nutritious, timely, and tailored to the patient’s needs. Special mention to Ms. Priyanka and Mr. Kaushal (Supervisor) for their dedicated service to Room No. 401B.

On the technical and medical side, everything was smooth and well-managed. However, the administrative process for bed allocation could be more transparent. It was noticeable that patients under CGHS/DGHS or other panels were not given the same priority as private ones. For example, OPD billing for panel patients starts late, and initially, only one counter is opened until complaints arise. Similarly, for in-patient admissions, private wards are often shown as “booked,” even when available, which can be disappointing for those eligible.

Please note: For CGHS/DGHS/Panel regular consultations where the doctors are only team doctors/ junior doctors and not Dr. Umarani or Dr. Laxmi madam.

Their roaster changes everytime and hardly you meet the same doctor every time you visit. However, for the final procedure the Dr. Umarani or Dr. Laxmi Madam will be heading.

While this seems to be a management-level issue, the hospital’s cleanliness, maintenance, and security remain top-notch — the premises are spotless, and staff are courteous and efficient.

Overall, despite minor administrative shortcomings, our medical experience at BLK Max Hospital was outstanding, thanks to the dedication of the doctors, nurses, and support staff. We are deeply grateful to the entire team for their professionalism and care.

I had a good experience with Dr. Laxmi Mantri. She was friendly and thorough in discussing my medical problem, and I got much relief within one month.

She may be a good doctor *** * *** * ******** ********** **** **** She asked for old papers but when she came to know that these old papers are of other doctor, she did not bother to see what doctor has observed or prescribed. She did not even see the reports of tests that other doctor had prescribed. I told her that I am trying for last 1 year but unable to get pregnant, she directly prescribed HSG. while the first step should be give medication that help in evolution. Later she prescribed follicular study. Her exact prescription is "10th day onwards". She did not told for how many days the test should be done. She even did not bother to mention next day of visit.

I can without doubt that she is a gem of a person and is an exceptional Surgon whose expertise, compassion and dedication are truly commendable. A thorough professional who is very good in handling and managing complex situations.

We were regularly Consulted in OPD with prior appointment. Her advice and medication has been extremely beneficial through out pregnancy period. Any words of appreciation will be less for the kind of advice, strength and support that she has provided us in all these months. Not only is she an expert in her area but is also very approachable, friendly and patient. She has always been available and responded to all our queries even in the busy hours. She goes an extra mile to understand the problems of her patients and provides the best solution. My wife pregnancy wasnt a very smooth one but Dr. Laxmi Mantri ensured and provided instant solution to every problem. She had been very friendly and supportive to help me keep in positive state of mind.

Even during the delivery process she was available at all times and ensured that the baby was delivered safely without causing any risk to the mother or the baby. On 7th. of January we were blessed with a baby boy and we are thankful to Dr. Laxmi Mantri as it wouldn't have been possible without her support. we would definitely recommend Dr. Laxmi Mantri to all the future parents to be.

*** **** *** I already explain my wife case but still she took lightly and another mis carriage happen. Me and wife already told her for stitches on cervical but she told no issues everything is ok but after 22 weeks pregnancy cervical length open and preterm delivery happen.please do not visit.

She is highly experienced, soft spoken, understand the problems and many more.... So, I recommended Dr. Laxmi Mantri for any type of Gynae problems....😊😊😊
